Kristen Kim, R.N.

Kristen Kim started her nursing career in 1998 after graduating from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. At that same time, she earned her Public health Nurse Certification. She began working with patients with a variety of multisystem disorders particularly cardiovascular disease. In addition, she worked with medical cardiology and cardiothoracic surgery patients in the inpatient setting. Kristen then expanded her practice to the outpatient setting where she managed the care of patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, diabetes, liver disease, renal disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and pacemakers. Kristen moved on to focus on the management, care, and monitoring of patients receiving outpatient procedures at the UC Davis Pain Intervention Clinic, and has also provided nursing care in many different departments within the UC Davis Health system.
Kristen is excited to bring all her knowledge and experience with cardiovascular disease, inpatient and outpatient nursing, and procedural nursing to her career with the Vascular Center Clinic.
