MOSC IV - Supervisor
As supervisor of the Vascular Center Clinic, Paul provides support to all clinic affiliated physicians, nursing staff, clinical operations, and clerical support staff. Paul's principal focus is on promoting compassionate care, excellent customer service, and ensuring patient’s experience at only the best in interactions by the clerical support staff.
Paul Bugriyev joined the UC Davis Health System in 2006. Since then he has consistently exceeded expectations and standards year after year despite challenges presented by rotating from clinic to clinic day to day and month by month. Paul has played a vital support in projects that would involve gathering data and creating clinical statistics, set up conferences, reviewing transplant donor and receivers, coordination with international hospitals, and website development to improve marketing and overall awareness for individual and corporate networking. Throughout the years Paul has obtained an excellent understanding of the medical office functions and working with many different institutions.
Before coming to UC Davis, Paul finished his undergraduate studies in mathematics, physical science and liberal arts and was an executive director of a non-profit organization for international humanitarian work. In which he established his leadership capability in managing a large group of employees, strong command of international protocols and experience conducting business in foreign governments and executives across the globe. Having been born in Russia he continues to reach out to help the underserved and overlooked Slavic community of Sacramento though the UC Davis Slavic Interest Group, that he established in 2013. Paul has a heart for helping all people and when he is not at work he continues to help people, in the Sacramento community, through his community church.
