Theresa M. Koppie, M.D.

Clinical/Research InterestsDr. Koppie's clinical interests include the diagnosis, treatment and survivor care of patients with genitourinary malignancies. Her specialty areas include surgery for prostate, bladder, kidney and testis cancers. Other specialty areas include the minimally invasive treatment of kidney and prostate cancers using both laparoscopic and robotic approaches. Dr. Koppie's laboratory research interests include the identification and validation of novel tumor markers in bladder cancer. Clinically, her research has focused on optimizing outcomes after treatment for prostate and bladder cancers. Philosophy of Care: Dr. Koppie believes that excellence in genitourinary cancer care can be achieved through a multidisciplinary approach that is tailored to the individual patient. |
