This Week on “Pulse”

Pulse” is a television show on health and medicine presented by UC Davis Health System on KCRA Channel 3. Small, implantable heart defibrillators are changing the course of heart disease. Hear the dramatic story of a man who suffered a massive heart attack, died, revived and is living a normal life. Can syringe exchange programs reduce the spread of HIV among drug users? “Pulse” looks at a UC Davis study. And new medications are controlling the mood swings of people with bipolar disorder. One patient shares her story. Also, “Pulse” reporter Jennifer Harrison investigates tap versus bottled water.
