Rutledge
appointed to endowed chair in diabetes research; Grand Rounds
scheduled
John Calvert Rutledge,
chief of the UC Davis Division of Endocrinology, Clinical
Nutrition and Vascular Medicine, has been appointed to an
endowed chair at the School of Medicine dedicated to supporting
basic research in diabetes mellitus.
Rutledge will
occupy the Richard A. and Nora Eccles Harrison Chair in Diabetes
Research, which has been established by a $1.5 million donation
from a charitable foundation. More
