Hartman
joins Department of Radiology
Jonathan Hartman
joined the Department of Radiology as an assistant professor
of radiology in August. Hartman, who is in the neuroradiology
and interventional neuroradiology section received his medical
degree from the UC San Francisco in 1993 and was board-certified
by the American Board of Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology,
in 1998.
Hartmans
clinical interests center on minimally invasive and endovascular
treatment of central nervous system and craniofacial diseases,
including embolization of intracranial aneurysms, arteriovenous
malformations (AVMs), and spinal lesions; carotid/vertebrobasilar
angioplasty and stenting; preoperative embolization of intracranial/head
and neck tumors; and treatment of head and neck AVMs. He is
currently researching three-dimensional angiography, intracranial
angioplasty and stenting, treatment of acute stroke (particularly
by nonthrombolytic approaches), and outcomes analysis.
