Glatter
joins Division of Cardiovascular
Medicine as assistant professor
Kathryn A. Glatter
has joined the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine as an assistant
professor.
Glatter graduated
from Northwestern University with a bachelors degree
in neurobiology and physiology and earned her medical degree
from Harvard Medical School, where she graduated Cum Laude
in1993. Glatter completed her fellowship training in electrophysiology
at Stanford University and UCSF.
She will be working
to expand electrophysiology (EP) services at UC Davis and
enhance the training of physicians in this area. Her research
interest is in sudden cardiac death and long Q-T syndrome.
Glatter has been honored for her work as an EP fellow with
five research grants, including awards from the American Heart
Association and North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology.
She is a member of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Society and
American College of Cardiology.
