Dalton joins Department of Pathology

Patricia L. Dalton joined the Department of Pathology as an associate professor on Sept. 1. Dalton received her medical training at the University of Southern California, earning her degree in 1995. She was recently certified by the American Board of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

Dalton provides services in all areas of surgical pathology, with particular emphasis in gastrointestinal pathology. Her research work in progress centers on evaluating the proliferation by MIB-1 immunostaining in columnar epithelium of the esophagus. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and College of American Pathologists.
