Internist Scott MacDonald to join
UC Davis Medical Group J Street office

Internist Scott T. MacDonald will join the UC Davis Medical Group office on J Street in Sacramento as an associate physician starting July 17.

MacDonald graduated cum laude from the University of California, San Diego in 1991 with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and cell biology. He received his medical training at Rush Medical College in Chicago, earning his M.D. in 1997. He completed his internship and residency at UC Davis Medical Center.

MacDonald currently is an urgent care pool physician at Kaiser South Sacramento Medical Center. He previously served as a volunteer on the attending staff at Davis Community Clinic, and as a biochemist at SRI International.
