“Domestic Partners Seminar,” devoted to investment options for domestic partners, Il Fornaio restaurant, Sacramento. Conducted by financial advisers from Merrill Lynch, the seminar will provide information on advanced estate planning, wills, trusts and other choices for money management. The seminar is sponsored by the Gay and Lesbian University of California Employees (GLUE), but is open to employees with domestic partners who are not gay or lesbian. Reservations are required. “Boning Up on Osteoporosis,” part of the “Coming of Age” lecture series sponsored by the UC Davis Center for Healthy Aging, Sierra Health Foundation, 1321 Garden Highway, Sacramento. “More Joy in Life,” a confidential discussion group sponsored by the Academic and Staff Assistance Program, Ticon III, conference room 2B. Discussion is intended to help participants learn new coping strategies, identify roadblocks to joy, and handle depression.
