Teams forming for “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk

UC Davis Cancer Center and UC Davis Medical Group are forming teams to participate in the American Cancer Society’s annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk on Sunday, October 22.

The walk is the American Cancer Society’s premier event to raise awareness and money for the fight against breast cancer. Money raised by Making Strides helps to fund breast cancer research at UC Davis Cancer Center and other research institutions.

To join the UC Davis Cancer Center team, contact Toni Poppe at (916) 734-5786. Participants also may register online for either UC Davis team by clicking here. Once at the site, users should select “join a team” and enter “UC Davis.”
