New intercampus shuttle run, additional parking available beginning August 28

Reflecting the ongoing growth and expansion of UC Davis Health System, Parking and Transportation Services is expanding its services. Below are new developments from the department:

• UC Davis campus-UC Davis Medical Center shuttle service expansion: Beginning August 28, the intercampus shuttle service that provides transportation between the medical center and the Davis campus will expand its services by an additional hour in the afternoon. Currently, the last shuttle leaving the medical center to the Davis campus leaves at 6:10 p.m. The shuttle service is adding a 7:30 p.m. run from the medical center that will deliver passengers to Lot 53 only. That same shuttle will pick up passengers at Lot 53 and deliver them to the medical center by 8:25 p.m. To review the entire intercampus shuttle schedule, go to the Web at www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/parking.

• New Parking Lot 16: Beginning August 28, a new 450-space parking lot will be available for use. The new Lot 16 is located adjacent to Lot 14. All shuttle pick-ups will be at the Lot 16 bus shelter. A permit ticket dispenser, located inside the shelter, is available in the new lot.

• Regional Transit Increase: Regional Transit will increase its fare for a monthly pass from $80 to $85 per month beginning in September. Parking and Transportation Services’ subsidy for employees will continue to be $45 per month for all transit riders.
