“Elder Financial Abuse” topic of next Caregiver Support Group meeting

“Elder Financial Abuse” is the topic of the next Caregiver Support Group meeting set for Wednesday, August 30, from noon to 1 p.m. at La Bou restaurant, room 1109.

The guest speakers will be Heidi Richardson and Jenson Pfeiffer of Sacramento County’s Adult Protective Services’ Financial Abuse Investigation Unit. The unit works with law enforcement agencies, conservators, attorneys, legal clinics and regulatory agencies to guard against financial exploitation. UC Davis Health System employees are invited to bring general questions or their personal experiences. Richardson and Pfeiffer will take questions from those in attendance.
