Changes coming to School of Medicine faculty payroll statements

Payroll statements for School of Medicine faculty will have a different look starting August 1, 2006. The amount of money faculty receive will not change.

The changes are being made to comply with federal regulations that require a clear indication of how much faculty efforts are expended on federal grants. To meet those regulations, UC Davis has developed a new Effort Reporting System. Under this system, each description of service (DOS) code listed on payroll statements now will have percentage values assigned to them. The change will affect all members of the UC Davis Health Sciences Compensation Plan.
