A milestone in the construction of the Surgery and Emergency Services Pavilion occurred this week as crews completed the erection of the steel beams for the new facility.
To mark the occasion, UC Davis Health System administrators, staff, contractors and representatives of the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development conducted a “topping-out ceremony.” They signed a steel beam that was then hoisted into place.
