Nursing units, clinics honored for high patient-satisfaction ratings
Several UC Davis Health System nursing units and clinics were honored for their high patient satisfaction ratings last week at Professional Research Consultant’s (PRC) annual client education conference in Omaha, Nebraska.
The PRC conducts patient-satisfaction studies for more than 300 hospitals and health systems around the country. Its clients include the Mayo Clinic, the Shands and Beth Israel Deaconess. The UC Davis Health System survey program includes approximately 2,000 inpatient and 9,000 outpatient interviews per year.
“We are very proud of our outpatient primary care and specialty clinics,” said Cherie Adams, manager of the health system’s hospital-based clinics. “Quality of care is important to all of our staff, and these awards reflect our commitment and dedication to excellent patient care.”
