Brownies deliver stuffed bears to Children’s Hospital patients

Brownie Girl Scouts from Tierra Del Oro, Troop 1302 of Cameron Park, recently delivered teddy bears to patients at UC Davis Children’s Hospital. Receiving one of the bears above, is 2-year-old Tristan Cassidy, accompanied by his mother, Rachael. The Brownies sold about 1,500 boxes of Girl Scout cookies this year and voted to use a large portion of their earnings to go to Build-A-Bear Workshop at Arden Fair Mall. There, each of the 10 Brownies created a stuffed bear to deliver to UC Davis Children’s Hospital.
