CRISP to host national clinical research certification prep course and exam
The conduct of clinical trials, regulatory guidelines and ethical issues in clinical research are among the topics to be covered during a research certification preparation course and examination June 2-3 at UC Davis Medical Center.
UC Davis Health System’s Clinical Research Investigator Services Program (CRISP) will host the Society of Clinical Research Associates Clinical Research Professional Certification Preparation and Review Course on Friday, June 2, at the CRISP Building auditorium, 2921 Stockton Blvd., Suite 1400. The Certification Exam will he held on Saturday, June 3.
In addition to the preparation/review course, there also will be a workshop on case report forms and abstracting information. Applicants who complete the requirements and pass the examination will receive the designation of Certified Clinical Research Professional.
Enrollment for these sessions is limited, but CRISP will offer additional sessions in the future.
CRISP provides faculty, staff and trainees with resources and services to support clinical and translational research, such as biostatistics, clinical trials, grant facilitation and clinical data management. Experts are also available from the Office of Sponsored Programs, Faculty Development, the Institutional Review Board and the Office of Research.
