Vehicular traffic on 45th Street is one-way through June

Construction on the new Education Building will limit vehicular traffic to a one-way, northbound direction on 45th Street between X and Y Streets through Friday, June 30.

The traffic restriction is required to allow the building contractor to proceed with site development work on the western side of the Education Building site. During this period of construction, vehicular traffic on 45th Street will be permitted only in the northbound direction. Vehicles heading southbound will be directed to alternate routes. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected, as the contractor will use barricades to isolate the work area and ensure pedestrian’s safety. Flagmen will direct pedestrian traffic and signs will be in place.
