New electronic medical record (EMR) features ease charting duties

The “admission assessment” and “flowsheets” features of the electronic medical record will go live on April 18.

Learning tools for admission assessment and flowsheets are on the EMR Web site for physicians, inpatient staff, respiratory therapists and pharmacists, with more learning tools to come. The EMR Web site is at http://intranet.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/emr/.

Superusers are eligible for the shift bonus program. EMR superusers are needed. Employees who are interested in becoming a superuser should discuss it with their manager.

Practices and demonstrations are taking place in each unit. A schedule for these is on the EMR Web site at http://intranet.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/emr/.
