Employees invited to sell arts and crafts at TGFS/Diversity Day luncheon

Tables are available for health system employees to sell their arts and crafts at this year’s Thank Goodness for Staff/Diversity Day luncheon set for Wednesday, May 24.

Booths will be provided at the luncheon to allow staff members to showcase their talents in areas such as quilting, woodworking, ceramics, needlecraft, painting, jewelry, and any other handmade arts and crafts.

To apply for a booth, employees must pay $20 and provide one craft item to be given away at the event as a “door prize.” The money will be used to sponsor future Staff Assembly events. Items provided for display and sale must be appropriate for the general public. Booths will consist of a 10-by-10-foot space with an eight-foot-long table and a chair.

Employees may bring their own set-up as long as it fits within the space provided. Staff members will be responsible for their own set-up, sales and clean-up. Vacation time may be used with supervisor or manager approval.
