Additional sessions set for mandatory course on financial controls

Additional sessions of a course on financial responsibility that is mandatory for managers and supervisors have been scheduled for March, April, May and June.

Managers and supervisors with financial responsibility are required to attend the course, which is intended to provide guidance on basic business controls in effect throughout UC Davis Health System.

Financial Services Administration is offering the course, titled "Financial Controls for Managers and Supervisors." Topics include the importance of internal controls, ensuring separation of duties and conducting general ledger reviews.

Employees should register through Training and Development by completing an enrollment form available on the Web at http://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/hr/hr/Training/enrollment_app.pdf. The course number is 05428.

Classes are scheduled in Ticon III, Room 2400, from 9 to 11 a.m. on the following dates: March 17, April 27, May 18 and June 2.
