Pedestrians urged to use Doctor Way sidewalk to avoid construction hazards

Due to heavy construction activity scheduled for the next several months on the Surgery and Emergency Services Pavilion, the Facilities Design and Construction office is urging employees to use caution when walking on Doctor Way near the construction site.

Specifically, Facilities Design and Construction is advising pedestrians to use the sidewalk on the northern side of Doctor Way between 45th Street and Medical Road. Pedestrians should not walk in the street, as construction activities, wet weather, fog, overcast conditions, and vehicular traffic on Doctor Way make the street unsafe for pedestrian traffic.
