Grant Applications Sought For Children’s Miracle Network Funds

UC Davis Children’s Hospital is accepting 2006-08 grant applications for funds raised through the activities of the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN).

Applications will be accepted from any UC Davis faculty and staff member for clinical and research programs directly affecting children. Grants are two years in duration, with the exception of Staff Educational Development Grants.

Applications must be sent via e-mail to bridget.hughes@ucdmc.ucdavis.edu.

Supporting documents will be accepted by mail with prior arrangement. The application deadline is Feb. 28.

The schedule for the 2006-08 CMN grant process is as follows:

• March 2006: CMN grant applications are reviewed and recommended for funding.
• April 2006: Funding for fiscal year 2006-08 grants will be decided at the CMN executive meeting. By the end of the month, letters of funding or denial will be sent to all applicants for 2006-08 funding.
• June 2006: By the end of the month, new accounts will be created and sent to recipients with a start date of July 1, 2006, and an end date of June 30, 2008.
