New Year's day baby receives special welcome from "California Grown"

The first baby of 2006 born at UC Davis Medical Center was Madalynne Olivia Nunes of Folsom, delivered at 2:42 a.m. Jan. 1. Thanks to the California Grown campaign, which promotes the state's agricultural products, Madalynne received a custom-designed cap and onsie ensemble. His parents also received a basket of California-grown items. |
