Promising prostate cancer drug

Cancer Center researchers have found out how a promising prostate cancer drug works, revealing additional potential drug targets for an incurable form of prostate cancer, called castration-resistant prostate cancer. The study, led by Yu-Ming Chang, who was a M.D./Ph.D. candidate at the time the study was completed, will be published in the journal Oncogene. The drug, which has little toxicity, works by inhibiting communication between cancer cells and their growth.
