The UC Davis Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Science has been renamed the UC Davis Health System Eye Center to better reflect its service to patients. The center has the second-largest outpatient clinic at UC Davis, seeing some 50,000 patients annually and was the first residency program established at the medical center.
