Stem cell training grant

A three-year, $1.3 million "Bridges to Stem Cell Research" grant from the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine will enable Sacramento State University graduate students to work in UC Davis stem cell laboratories. The grant is part of the institute's effort to strengthen the ranks of laboratory personnel who have experience using the most current stem cell research techniques. The program will consist of internships and related opportunities for cellular and molecular biology students from Sacramento State.
