Philip Palmer
In 2001, Philip Palmer, emeritus professor of radiology, and colleague, Maurice Reeder wrote the second edition of their textbook "The Imaging of Tropical Diseases, with Epidemiological, Pathological and Clinical correlation." It was published by Springer Verlag, Heidelberg, and was well received. However, the price of over $550 puts it beyond the reach of most of the physicians who really could use it. Recently, at their request, Springer returned the copyright to Palmer and Reeder and, the two volumes have been put on to a DVD. This is available without charge from the American College of Radiology and the International Society of Radiology. The book is now on the website of the ISR, and can be viewed and downloaded without a fee.
