COMMENTS FROM THE GRADUATING CLASS
 |
|
The class of 2003 would like to formally thank you for your donation.
We are much appreciative of your generosity. The donation will be used to fund our yearbook
this year. We will receive the printed yearbook in June. When it is distributed, please
stop one of us and take a look at the pages. We worked hard on creating the pages of
our yearbook and would love to share them with the Alumni.
We hope you were able to join us at our graduation on June 6, 2003. The ceremony was
held on the main UC Davis medical school campus. Thank you again for the donation.
Sincerely, Soon-to-be UC Davis Medical School Alumni and M.D.s!

"I remember the first time I saw a baby being born. I was gowned and gloved, the attending was running
late, and the resident asked me if I was ready. When the baby came out, I blurted out "Wow!" It was surreal."
- Kendall
"I will always remember Hat Day for Anatomy first quarter. Everybody wore such funny hats and were in
such good spirits, not taking themselves too seriously. These are qualities which make UC Davis School
of Medicine so unique."

were made."

"I would like to thank the Alumni Association for the generous donation towards the Class
of 2003 yearbook. The nine years I spent at UC Davis went by very fast, which is probably a reflection
of how much I enjoyed them. UC Davis is a wonderful place to be; from my first undergraduate Picnic Day
placing my hand in one of the world famous fistulated cows to my graduation from medical school placing
my hands on patients to help them; I will be forever thankful."
- Christopher Dolan
"Thank you so much for your generous donation for our yearbooks. The road has been long
and hard, with little time to smell the roses, but ample time to smell many things from cadaver "juice"
to pseudomonas. We really appreciate your kind donation. Thank you."

that people were wondering why I had such a distinct smell."

playing on the lawn, being awakened at 4 a.m. in the student call room by flashing lights/fire alarm after
finally going to bed at 3, and being taught how to suture by the chief of surgery."

" I have a great memory of sitting at a CMA (California Medical Association) Leadership
Conference and waiting with great anticipation to hear the keynote address that everyone was looking forward
to hearing. When he was introduced his bio read that he was a UC Davis Medical School grad. I remember
feeling so proud that a gathering of California leaders in medicine had a UC Davis grad as the keynote
speaker."
