The ninth annual Serotonin Surge charity golf tournament raised a total of $35,000 for the Maggi Carlile Memorial Scholarship Fund, The UC Davis School of Medicine's network of student run community clinics, and Dr. Ernie Bodai's Cure Breast Cancer organization. The $15,000 donation to the School of Medicine was made in honor of Dr. Amerish Bera who was recognized for his role in leading and nurturing the free clinics.
Tournament sponsors included The Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Permanente, Kaneski Associates, The UC Davis Health System, Novartis, American River HealthPro Credit Union, Bio-Rad, Ellis & Ellis, Harbison Mahony Higgins Builders, The Lescroart Corporation, Lucy Htain Realty Services, and the Niello Motor Company.
