I love meeting the new medical students. They have enthusiasm and idealism, with a passion for medicine.
So often, I hear practicing physicians complaining about all that is wrong with today's medical practice. Yet I have heard each one of us tell some story that speaks volumes about our continued passion for medicine. So we had this idea to let potential student recruits hear a bit why UC Davis School of Medicine grads and residents still find joy in medicine. Write us a short note, letter, or a few paragraphs on why you still find medicine and practice interesting, challenging, fun, and a source of fulfillment.
We will post your information to the UC Davis School of Medicine web page for students who are considering UC Davis School of Medicine to read. You can help the school continue to recruit the bright and passionate.
