Lifetime achievement award

Ted Cohen, manager of clinical engineering at UC Davis Medical Center, has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American College of Clinical Engineering. Cohen is the editor of the American College of Clinical Engineering's newsletter and has taught courses and published extensively in several medical-technology subject areas. Cohen developed, co-wrote and edited the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation book, "Computerized Maintenance Management Systems for Clinical Engineering," in 1994 and its updated second edition in 2003.
