Former UC Davis student and resident, Juliana Karrim died unexpectedly on April 3, 2008. Juliana graduated from the UC Davis School of Medicine in 2002 and the UC Davis Internal Medicine residency program in 2005 and was in the midst of a hematology and oncology fellowship at UCSF. She is survived by her lovely daughter, Allie, and husband, Felix Chen. A memorial service was held by the UC Davis School of Medicine and Department of Internal Medicine on May 16.
