Dean Berkus

I am still working as an anesthesiologist, now mostly at Specialty Surgical Center in Beverly Hills, doing anesthesia for cataract surgery. Occasionally, I pick up an extra case or two in many of the surrounding plastic surgery offices. I still have hospital staff privileges but find life is much simpler and easier to plan if I work in ambulatory surgery only. It has taken me 25 years since graduating from UC Davis to be able to do this.
