Michael Minear has been appointed chief information officer for UC Davis Health System. Minear was an associate faculty member in health management information systems in the Bloomberg Graduate School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. At UC Davis, Minear is responsible for overseeing about 500 managers, programmers, analysts and support staff who execute the health system's technology strategy. He serves as a key member of the leadership team reporting to Vice Chancellor and Dean Claire Pomeroy.
