Clinical/Research Interests

Richard V. Perez is an experienced transplant surgeon. His main interest is in kidney/pancreas transplantation and hemodialysis vascular access. Dr. Perez is a well respected educator in the field of organ transplantation. His research interests focus on the expansion of the pool of deceased organs available for renal transplantation and the role of inflammation in contributing to transplant outcomes.
