Candidates are removed from the transplant waitlist at the time of transplant, or less commonly if a potential recipient dies. The graph below show the number of patients removed from the waitlist because they were transplanted (green bar), and those removed due to death (red bar). UC Davis has a very low death rate on the waitlist and the highest percentage of patients on the waitlist removed because they were transplanted.
