“I joined ITSP because I wanted the tools and knowledge to be an excellent educator. ITSP provided me a diverse set of educational methods and new ideas that I have already utilized in my courses.”
- Michael Schick, D.O., M.A.
During the first year, the program entails approximately 30 in-person, 3-hour seminars held on Thursday afternoons between October and June. A commitment of approximately 5 hours for each of these sessions is required. During the second year, the time commitment is much different, as scholars will complete their scholarly project with continued mentorship from the program. This will entail periodic check-in meetings and presentation of the project at the end of the year.
The application includes a Nomination and Statement of Commitment from Academic Leader that must be completed by the faculty member's academic leader/department chair.
