Clinical/Research Interests

Dr. Stevenson has clinical interests in cosmetic surgery, general plastic and reconstructive surgery, hand surgery, and microsurgery. He is a reviewer for several medical journals, a widely published author, and a frequent presenter at national and international seminars. Dr. Stevenson has conducted research on the protective effect of staurosporine in skeletal muscle after ischemia, contributions of SMAS to blood supply in lateral facelift flap, and effects of ischemic preconditioning on recovery of skeletal muscle following tourniquet ischemia.
