Clinical/Research Interests

Dr. Danielson's clinical interests focus on mitral valve repair; surgical treatment of atrial fibrillation; minimally invasive valvular surgery. His research focus on 3D echocardiographic analysis of mitral valve repair; impact of lesion sets on outcomes for atrial fibrillation surgery; bicupid aortic valve imaging; association of bicuspid aortic valves and aortic aneurysms.
