Academic Vascular Surgeon

The Department of Surgery at the University of California, Davis seeks to recruit a full-time, academic vascular and endovascular surgeon who is board certified in general surgery and has, or is eligible for the certificate of added qualifications in vascular surgery at the level of assistant, associate or full professor either in the in-residence or clinical_series.  The candidate will have broad training and experience in open vascular and endovascular surgery.  The selected individual will join the existing group of four vascular surgeons, three of whom have busy endovascular practices, and be a member of the multi-specialty UC Davis Vascular Center with the opportunity to work with Mather VA Surgical Services in Sacramento. This position will be expected to participate in clinical care, teaching, research and university service dependent on the chosen academic series. The candidate must have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment. For full consideration, applications must be received by February 28, 2008. However, the position will remain open until filled through April 1, 2008.
