Academic Trauma and Emergency Surgery Surgeon

The Department of Surgery at the UC Davis Medical Center is seeking a full-time academic surgeon, at the rank of assistant or associate or full professor, specializing in trauma and emergency surgery. The candidates must have a special certificate in surgical critical care (or be eligible). The level of appointment will be based upon experience and qualifications. Candidates must be board certified in surgery and a California Medical License is required.

Selected individuals will be expected to participate in clinical care, teaching, research and university service dependent on the chosen academic series. The candidates must have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.

For full consideration applications must be received by December 1, 2008. However, the position will remain open until filled through April 30, 2009.
