Academic Plastic Surgeon – Hand

The Department of Surgery at the University of California, Davis, Health System located in Sacramento, California, seeks to fill two full-time Academic Plastic Surgeon positions with a specialty in Hand Surgery.  The positions will be recruited at the assistant or associate professor level in the Health Science Clinical, Clinical X, or In-Residence series. 

Selected candidate(s) will have responsibilities in this distinguished service, which includes plastic, trauma, and subspecialty surgical services.  Duties include; teaching, both resident and fellow instruction, clinical care – both inpatient and outpatient – and research related to plastic or hand services or Orthopaedic Surgery.  Incumbents will work collaboratively and integrate with our strong community partners.

Qualified candidates must have an M.D. degree, be board certified or board eligible in Plastic Surgery, have a commitment to research activity; and a California Medical License before the start date.  All candidates must have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.  Salary and level of appointment will be based upon experience and qualifications.
