Academic Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon

The Department of Surgery at the University of California, Davis, Health System in Sacramento, California, seeks a full-time pediatric cardiac surgeon at the assistant, associate or full professor level in either the Professor of Clinical Surgery or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. The selected individual will be expected to participate in clinical care, teaching, research, and university service dependent on the chosen academic series.  Candidates should have an excellent academic background, be board eligible/certified in cardiac surgery, and have completed a pediatric cardiac surgery fellowship.  Duties will include patient care in the inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.  The candidate must have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.  Salary and level of appointment will be based upon experience and qualifications.
