Physician Assistant
Responsibilities: Performs medical evaluations and assists physicians in the care, guidance and well being of patients. Functions as a member of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Team. Acts as assistant in cardiac and thoracic surgery under the supervision of an approved physician. Assists in maintaining statistical database on patients and provides reports for physicians. Participates in research and education.
Qualifications/Experience: Valid Physician Assistant License for the State of California. Graduation from an accredited PA Program. IV and CPR certification required. Applicant must have experience assisting in operations doing tasks under direct supervision of surgeon.
