Academic Adult Cardiothoracic Surgeon

The Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of California, Davis, Health System seeks to recruit a full-time, academic adult cardiothoracic surgeon with an emphasis on adult cardiac surgery.  The applicant will have demonstrated interest in research and a proven record of research funding. Clinical responsibilities will vary depending upon research commitments.  Rank and salary will depend upon experience and qualifications.  Selected individuals will be expected to participate in clinical care, teaching, research and university service dependent on the chosen academic series.  The candidate must have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.
