The Department of Surgery at the UC Davis Health System in Sacramento, California, and the Shriners Hospital for Children, located across the street from UCDHS, seeks a full-time experienced, academic burn surgeon (assistant, associate or full professor either in residence or clinical _ series). This selected individual will be expected to participate in clinical care, teaching, research and university service dependent on the chosen academic series. Candidates should have an excellent academic background, be board eligible/certified in general surgery, and have completed a burn fellowship.  Duties will include patient care in the inpatient and outpatient clinical settings. The candidate will have the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment. Salary and level of appointment will be based upon experience and qualifications.
