Instructions for post-match positions

In the event there are post-match positions in the Surgery Residency Program at the University of California, Davis, the following are instructions to applicants who wish to apply for a position. Applications and supporting documents can be submitted prior to the match results through ERAS. However, as per the rules and regulations set forth by the NRMP, no discussion will take place nor offers made before March 15, 2021. Once the process begins, offers will be made on a first come first serve basis through the Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program (SOAP). It should be further noted that until a signed letter of agreement is received by the Program Director for the Surgery Residency Program, positions will be offered to applicants until all post-match positions have been filled.

3. Copy of medical school transcripts
4. USMLE Step I score

For graduates of International Medical Schools an “Evaluation Status Letter” from the Medical Board of California stating that you will be eligible for licensure in the State of California will also be required.
