Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency Training Program
Our program is fully accredited by the ACGME, with two established tracks for the training or plastic surgery residents.
The Combined Program allows applicants to match into our program at the completion of medical school. it consists of three years of general surgery training followed by three years of plastic surgery training. We are in the process of working with the Residency Review Committee in Plastic Surgery to convert this program into an Integrated Program. We have one position available for applicants from medical school each year and will interview for this position on January 25, 2014.
The Independent Program matches applicants with a minimum of three years of training in an ACGME-accredited residency program in general surgery, otolaryngology, neurological surgery, urology, orthopedic surgery, or accredited oral and maxillofacial training. We have one position available for such applicants each year. All completed applications must be received to the SF Matching Program by Decmeber 31st. We plan to interview for this position late winter to early spring 2014.
